Altos Enterprises Limited was growing phenomenally and volume of transactions was huge when a standalone proprietary application used by the company to prepare Distributor Compensation Statements crashed. After analysis, we found that available Database even was unreliable as the programmer who developed this application missed out important validations. So, the challenge was not only to locate the duplicate transactions or reconciliation after their removal but also a seamless migration to Network Marketing Solution Suite before the eve of next Payout which meant that we had to take care of the existing operations of the company as well.

We started from the available MS ACCESS File System based Database and designed an application to import relevant Existing Database to our Server based SQL SERVER 2005 Database which was then verified for its completeness and accuracy. Then, we started the reconciliation process to find out Excess Payout released by their proprietary application and which was reversed by automating Debit Vouchers in the Distributor Accounts. Finally MIS was generated for an Internal Audit while Auditors were examining the MIS we deployed the application and provided training of the staff.

The proprietary system could generate compensation statements from Distributor Invoices and it couldn’t maintain Inventory and Financial Accounts. We analyzed that company growth perspectives are also suffering due to inadequate stock at its Stores and Pick Up Points and unpredictable Supply Chain. We took to look into this, and our Programmers matched the expectations of our stakeholders to ensure that not only did the Payout was processed on time but also the company was able to integrate Financial Accounts and Inventory Controls.
